Olaf is a gorgeous boy -- a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix. He came from a hoarding case in Arizona , where the adults were left in the field and not socialized with people. Olaf is the most socialized of these dogs, but is still shy and wary of new people. He is learning to trust us, though , and will come up to us now without fear and let us pet him . He gets along well with other dogs, wants to chase the cats who run away, but when they sit still we have seen him actually lick a cat gently as though he's giving her a kiss. Olaf and his female partner Elsa were found in a pen together with goats and pigs, and preliminary tests with our goats are good, but he needs some continued training with chickens. We've tried giving him some house and crate training, but he definitely doesn't want to be confined in the crate and he's not particularly happy about being in the house. He is most likely going to be happiest in a home where he can continue living as he always has -- in the great outdoors. Olaf is fully vetted and is available to the right adopter who can both appreciate his handsome good looks and continue with his socialization.
