Bear should more appropriately be named Teddy Bear.  This young Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd has been a love bug from the beginning.  Still growing at 70+ pounds, he is nothing but sweetness.  Bear is great with children and has been safe with chickens, cats and tries to avoid large livestock.  He guards his property faithfully with his enormous bark and alerts to unfamiliar people or dangers, and is typically the first one to give warning.  He has nothing but love for his people and for a very large puppy has shown himself to be quite gentle.  Bear loves tummy rubs, ear scratches, and enjoys a good morning hug when he is so excited to greet his people.  While not currently an inside dog, Bear would adjust well to a life where he could not only have outdoor space to watch over but also interact with his owners in a home environment.   Occasionally Bear will jump as puppies do, but he is learning this is not nice manners.    Mostly he is trying to get as close as possible and doesn’t realize he is a small giant!  Bear is gentle, patient and does not jump on the 4 year old of the home and is great with kids of all ages.   He has learned to sit nicely while waiting for his food and most often comes when he’s called, especially if a treat is involved.   If you know LGD’s, this is a great trait!   Overall, I don’t think you could ask for a better dog than this sweet puppy boy named Bear.
